Certificate III In Aviation (Rescue Crew Officer)
COST: Contact us for pricing
Convert your emergency services experience into a nationally recognised qualification: rescue crew officer. Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is a pathway that allows us to work with you to convert your real life experience into an accredited qualification.
If you have relevant experience, for example five years in emergency services, talk to us so we can help assess your suitability under the RPL pathway for this Certificate III, accrediting you as a rescue crew officer able to support normal operations or emergency rescue duties in a helicopter operational environment.
This Certificate III is an entry level qualification that qualifies you to pursue a career as a helicopter rescue crew officer or a “down the wire” crew officer in the aviation industry. It is also relevant for emergency services officers, police officers and paramedics.
We only offer this qualification by a Recognition of Prior Learning Pathway.
This qualification forms some of the requirements for certification as flight crew by CASA as described in Civil Aviation Orders. Rescue crew seeking authorisation as non-licensed personnel should check these requirements with CASA.
